Casa Potthoff began its activities in 1931 as an importer of electrical materials for Portuguese industry.

Mr. F. Potthoff, the founder, joined up with Mr. L. Nereu and they represented the electric resistance manufacturer Kanthal during many years. This relationship continued up until 1998 when the Sandvik group bought Kanthal.

During the years the central objective of Casa Potthoff has always been to adapting its strategy to an ever-evolving market. Today Casa Potthoff is a supplier of products and services focusing on highly specialized technologies.
